Caldwell Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day Set

Legion Park

Caldwell Countians will have the opportunity to safely dispose of household hazardous waste later this month.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling announced at the fiscal court meeting Tuesday the event will be on October 30th.

Some of the items that will be collected include ammonia, antifreeze, arts & craft supplies, batteries, bleaches, engine and radiator flushes, non-farm herbicides, insect sprays, mothballs, oil-based paint, paint thinners, pool chemicals, rodent killers and more. A complete list can be found on the flyer posted below.
Water-based paints and used motor oil will not be accepted at this event, but you can contact the Recycling Center for options for those items.
For the safety of citizens, you must stay in the vehicle while staff unloads the items.
Citizens must enter on the right of the Legion Ballpark lot and exit on the left.
The household hazardous waste collection is sponsored by Caldwell County Fiscal Court and Caldwell County Recycling.
