A wreck on Archie Ortt Road in Caldwell County sent a Kuttawa woman to an Indiana hospital Sunday afternoon.
Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Hawkins says 43-year-old Melissa Pederson swerved to miss a deer and ran off the roadway causing her vehicle to overturn coming to a rest on its top in the roadway.
Peterson was taken by ambulance to Caldwell County Hospital then flown to an Evansville hospital. The crash happened just after 5 pm at the 2000 block of Archie Ortt Road.
