Lyon County Gains Third High Speed Internet Partnership

Lyon County continues its work to provide high-speed internet to its residents after a third partnership was announced this week that benefits the Suwanee community.
The Humana Healthy Horizons in Kentucky program has announced a $207,000 investment in Lyon County that will not only increase the availability of internet services but also improve digital access to health care.
Lyon County Judge-executive Wade White says Humana chose Lyon County for the investment to help improve telehealth efforts in the county.

White says the investment by Humana is just part of the county’s pursuit to provide internet to all residents. The first step came with the federal ARPA funds that Lyon County earmarked for the project.
