Nine New COVID Cases Reported In Caldwell County


The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 29 total new coronavirus cases around its five-county district on Wednesday and Thursday.
Nine of those cases were reported in Caldwell County and include six females and three males, ages 10 to 46-years old with two of the cases 18 and under. All of the cases are isolated at home.
In addition, the health department reported 46 total active COVID-19 cases of the virus in Caldwell County as of Thursday morning. Four of those cases are hospitalized.
To date, 2,265 total cases have been confirmed in Caldwell County, 2,171 have recovered and 48 deaths have been connected to COVID-19.
The state’s COVID-19 incidence rate map shows Caldwell County and Trigg County remain in the red group with a high spread rate, while Lyon County and Crittenden County have fallen into the orange group, and Livingston County is in the yellow group.
