Nine New COVID Cases Reported In Caldwell County


The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 58 new coronavirus cases around its five-county district over the past six days, including nine new cases in Caldwell County.
According to the health department, three new COVID-19 cases were reported in Caldwell County on Friday, along with two new cases on Monday and four new cases on Tuesday. All the cases are recovering at home and include five females and four males, ages 7 to 65 with two of the latest cases 18 and under.
Elsewhere around the district, 29 new COVID cases were reported in Trigg County during the same time period, along with eight new cases in Livingston County, seven new cases in Crittenden County, and five new cases in Lyon County.
The state’s COVID-19 incidence rate map for Tuesday indicates of the five counties in the Pennyrile District Health Department’s service area, Caldwell, Crittenden, Livingston, and Lyon counties are now in the orange with a substantial spread rate per population while Trigg County remains the only county in the district in the red.
