Fredonia Councilman To Seek 4th District State Representative Seat

Kristopher Driver in Frankfort filing his paperwork to run as 4th District State Representative

A Fredonia man has officially filed his paperwork in Frankfort to run for the 4th District state representative seat.
Kristopher Driver tells the News Edge his political career began by serving on the Fredonia City Council after he got out of the military.


click to download audioDriver, a registered Republican, says he has the support of Mayor Jared Byford of Marion and Mayor Jim Seibert of Fredonia and added that he’s running to help the communities and cities in the 4th District.

Driver will face incumbent Republican Lynn Bechler, of Marion, in the May Primary Election. Bechler filed a letter of intent with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance earlier this week that he will seek reelection to a fourth term in District 4, which includes Caldwell, Crittenden, and Livingston County and part of Christian County.
