Six New COVID Cases Reported In Caldwell County Thursday


The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 15 new coronavirus cases around its five-county district Thursday.
Six of the new COVID cases were in Caldwell County. All of the new cases are isolated at home and involve four males and two females ranging in age from 13 to 64 with two of the cases 18 and under.
Elsewhere around the district, four new COVID-19 cases each were reported in Crittenden and Trigg counties, along with one new case in Lyon County. There were no new cases reported in Livingston County.
According to the health department’s weekly COVID-19 summary, as of Thursday morning, Caldwell County has 29 total positive cases of the virus recovering at home and two people hospitalized.
The summary also shows Trigg County currently has the highest number of positive COVID-19 cases in the health department’s district at 63, including four hospitalizations.
