A Princeton man was charged with promoting contraband and drug possession at the Caldwell County Jail over the weekend.
According to Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison, officers responded to the jail around 6:00 Saturday night after a complaint of an inmate was found with contraband during processing. He says an investigation revealed 37-year old Channing Q. Gray was found to be in possession of marijuana that he was trying to smuggle into the jail.
Gray was charged with promoting contraband and possession of marijuana.
