Caldwell County Reports Nine New COVID-19 Cases


The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 27 new coronavirus cases around its five-county district Tuesday afternoon.
Nine of those COVID cases were reported in Caldwell County. All of the cases are recovering at home and involve five males and four females, ages 28 to 63.
Elsewhere around the district, the health department reported ten new COVID cases in Trigg County on Tuesday, along with four new cases in Lyon County, and two new cases each in Crittenden and Livingston counties.
Statewide on Tuesday, Governor Andy Beshear announced 2,558 new COVID-19 cases and 30 new deaths with the positivity rate at 8.31%.
