
The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 33 new coronavirus cases Thursday, along with 217 total current cases around its five-county district.
In Caldwell County, the health department reported 4 new positive cases of the virus. All of the cases are recovering at home and include three males and one female ranging in age from 23 to 55.
In addition, the health department released its weekly COVID-19 case summary that shows Caldwell County currently has 45 total cases, including two hospitalizations. To date, 2,339 cases have been confirmed in Caldwell County, 2,246 cases have recovered and 48 deaths have been connected to the virus.
Elsewhere around the district, eleven new COVID Cases were reported in Trigg County bringing the total number of current cases to 73, including three hospitalizations.
The health department reported nine new coronavirus cases in Crittenden County with the summary showing a total of 33 current cases with three of those hospitalized.
In Lyon County, six new cases of the virus were reported Thursday bringing the total number of current cases 33, including one hospitalization.
And the health department reported three new COVID cases in Livingston County with the summary reporting 33 total cases with one of COVID cases hospitalized.
