The George Coon Public Library is reminding people they can give the gift of reading this Christmas through the Caldwell County Imagination Library.
Since launching in 1995, the Imagination Library has become one of the most popular early childhood book-gifting programs in the United States. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library gifts books each month to children from birth to age five, free of charge, through funding shared by the country music entertainer.
George Coon Library Director Nichelle Faughn said you can sign a child up to receive a free book either at the library or online.
