Caldwell County Emergency Management Director Joey McCaslin tells WPKY the FEMA Recovery Center is now open at the Butler building on West Main in Princeton.
According to McCaslin, FEMA officials say they will be open at the Butler building 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This is for any damages to structures from Friday night’s storm. McCaslin says any farm damage needs to go through Agriculture Extension Agent Shane Bogle with the Caldwell County Extension Office.
He says there are also FEMA investigators in Princeton looking at fraud cases in which claims have already been submitted.
McCaslin also says the Butler building is being secured.
