A home was damaged in a fire on Lewistown Church Road in Caldwell County late Sunday night.
Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis tells the News Edge ten firefighters responded to Lewistown Church Road around 11:20 p.m. He says all the occupants had escaped the home and were outside when firefighters arrived at the scene.
According to Chief Francis, structurally the home is okay but there was a lot of heat and smoke damage throughout the interior of the home. He says the fire appeared to have started in the living room area around a Christmas tree.
There were no injuries reported.
