A man and woman were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Caldwell County Thursday morning.
Caldwell County Chief Deputy Sheriff Chris Noel says deputies responded to the 1900 block of Highway 70 around 11:00. He says an investigation by Deputy Steve Ladd determined 66-year old Jennie Bader, of Princeton, was traveling eastbound on Highway 70 when due to icy road conditions she lost control of her vehicle and struck a westbound vehicle driven by 68-year old Stephan Faughn, of Princeton.
According to Deputy Ladd, both Faughn and Bader were transported by Caldwell County EMS to Caldwell Medical for non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputy Ladd was also assisted on the scene by Deputy Brook Dixon and Caldwell County Fire/Rescue.
