Caldwell County Reports 63 New COVID Cases Over 4 Day Period

The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 228 new coronavirus cases were confirmed from Thursday to Monday in its five-county district.
Of those, 63 of the new cases were reported in Caldwell County. All of the cases are recovering at home. Eighteen of the cases are 18 and under, including two six-month-old infants.
Elsewhere around the district, 66 new COVID cases were reported in Trigg County during this same time period, along with 39 new cases in Crittenden County, 37 new cases in Livingston County, and 23 new cases in Lyon County.
The health department also reported a state audit determined the death of an 82-year old female in Lyon County on February 24, 2021, was connected to COVID-19
