There were no injuries reported when a Pennyrile Rural Electric utility truck slid off the road in Lyon County Friday morning.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year old Jaylan Mount of Cadiz was southbound on KY 274 shortly before 8:00 when he yielded half of the roadway for an approaching vehicle, causing the utility truck to slide off the shoulder of the road and overturn onto its side.
Deputies say neither Mount nor his passenger, 32-year old Terry Meachum, of Cadiz, were injured.
