As of 8:30 Friday morning, officials with Princeton Electric Plant Board are reporting all circuits are back on, however, they do still have several people who do not have electricity.
They indicate the areas that do not have power at this time include: Beverly Lane, Harvey Lane, Citizens Court, parts of Robin Road, areas of Mechanic Street, and a couple of businesses on the end of West Main.
Officials say today, their crews will be working on taps that feed individual houses and small groups of homes. In addition, they have crews from other utilities arriving this morning to help.
Princeton Electric Plant Board also wants to pass along some important items to note:
1. Do not touch any downed power line.
2. Call to report downed lines. The line may very well be a phone or cable, but they need to check to make sure it is not an electric line. If you’ve already called Princeton EPB about this, they have you on the list and you do not need to call them again.
3. If you do not have power and you have not called Princeton EPB since 6:00 Friday morning, call their office. Do not reply with a comment or message on Facebook. Call 270-365-2031 and press 3.
In addition, officials say their employees are working in the office today the drive-thru window and office for payments are closed today. They say the drive-thru is closed due to some ice-laden limbs and it is too dangerous for customers to pass through. Utility officials ask that you use the automated phone system for payments. Please use the automated phone system for payments (270-365-2031, press 1) or pay online.
