Caldwell County Tornado Disaster Relief Coordinator Brother Harrell Riley

Caldwell County Tornado Disaster Relief Coordinator Brother Harrell Riley provided an update Tuesday morning regarding help that is still available for the recovery efforts from the December tornado.
Brother Riley tells WPKY volunteers are still out in the community providing help. He adds they still have some work orders to complete with more volunteers coming into the area to help with rebuilding efforts.

click to download audioThe distribution center will be open this week and next week Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from noon to 5:00 p.m.
He says they are in it for the long haul as some people are just finding out a couple of months after the tornado that they have a need.


click to download audioBro. Harrell says if anyone wants to volunteer for some “grunt work”, they need the help.
In addition, Harrell encourages neighbors to help those in the community who were affected by the tornado and area feeling unsettled when any severe storm and tornado warnings are issued in western Kentucky.
