A Princeton man was flown to an out-of-state hospital after a motorcycle wreck on Dawson Road Friday afternoon.
Caldwell County Chief Deputy Sheriff Chris Noel reports deputies responded to the wreck in the 10,000 block of Dawson Road shortly before 2:15 p.m. He says Deputy Evan Head was first on the scene and administered life-saving techniques to the operator of the motorcycle, 58-year old Raul Demoura prior to him being transported by Caldwell County EMS to the Caldwell County Hospital. He was then transferred via helicopter to an Evansville, Indiana hospital for treatment of injuries.
According to the report, an investigation determined the wreck occurred when Demoura swerved to miss an animal in the road and he lost control of his motorcycle causing it to run off the road and hit the guard rail.
