The Princeton Rotary Club will be presenting scholarships to three seniors at Caldwell County High School this spring, and later this summer the club will be presenting a donation to the Caldwell County Regional Career Center.
Rotarian Laura Klubert shared at Tuesday’s meeting the scholarship recipients are Destiny Mitchell, Savannah Scott, and Ty’Quan Bumphus. She said the checks will be presented to the three students at a luncheon on May 17th.
click to download audioIn addition, Klubert provided an update about the Caldwell County Regional Career Center. She said the club will be making a donation to the Career Center in late July or August.
click to download audioKlubert noted that she was told about 1/3 or 1/2 of the money will go to certification testing and the remaining funds will be distributed evenly between the teachers for any additional incidentals that they need to purchase that is not covered in the center’s funding.
