Caldwell Chamber’s Picnic In The Park Deemed ‘A Huge Success’

Despite the inclement weather, the Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce Picnic in the Park raised thousands of dollars Thursday for its senior scholarship fund.
Chamber President Heather Riley says the event was “a huge success this year” as they raised $2,500 thanks to everyone’s orders and the support of their generous sponsors Porter Road, Caldwell Medical Center, Morgan’s Funeral Home, McDonald’s, Food Giant of Princeton, and B&H Butcher Block.
Riley also says the chamber is appreciative of everyone’s efforts and excited to have the opportunity to invest in our local youth’s continuing education.
The event was scheduled to be held at the Olszewka Park on West Main Street, but just like last year’s Picnic in the Park, inclement weather forced the picnic to move indoors at Princeton City Hall.
Last year, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chamber raised $1,500 for its scholarship fund.
