Board Approves Salary Schedules And Tentative Budget


The Caldwell County Board of Education approved salary schedules, the tentative budget and a revised BG-1 for the elementary school project at Monday night’s meeting.
Superintendent Jeremy Roach said the salary schedules are the ones the board discussed in a working session last week and includes a 2% raise for the certified salary schedule with another change to the extracurricular salary schedule for summer school.

Roach also recommended the board’s approval to release committed funds for future construction which he noted is for the track repair project set to begin next month.

In other action, the board authorized Caldwell County Athletics to utilize SpotOn Retail for debit card usage at the gates for athletic events. Roach explained this would provide a flexible service for those who want to attend games.


click to download audioThe board also approved a bank bid from Farmers Bank & Trust for July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, and approved the lone auditor bid of $19,000 from Duguid, Gentry & Associates for Fiscal Year 2022.
