Knoth got 4,634 votes in Caldwell, Lyon, Trigg, and Livingston counties which comprised 51-percent of the total vote. He won all four counties with his 35-vote margin over Schalk in Caldwell County his closest.
Schalk finished second with 2,287 votes and Jennifer Nelson was third with 2,111 votes. Nelson finished second in Trigg and Livingston counties but lost to Schalk by 86 votes in Lyon County and 384 votes in Caldwell County.
