McCaslin Announces Dialysis Center Will Not Reopen In Princeton

During the fiscal court meeting Tuesday morning, Caldwell County Emergency Management Director Joey McCaslin announced the dialysis center that was destroyed in a fire earlier this year will not be reopening in Princeton.
McCaslin told magistrates it’s his understanding the company that owns the building where the dialysis center was located is going to rebuild the building, but that Fresenius Medical Care is not going to reopen a dialysis center in Princeton.

click to download audioMcCaslin also wants to let residents know they will be testing the weather sirens in the county at noon Wednesday, including the siren in Fredonia that has been repaired. He also noted they are still working with the American Red Cross on the county’s grant request for three more weather sirens.
