During a special called meeting Thursday afternoon, Princeton City Council approved a resolution to reserve $250,000 to match a grant for a proposed project to renovate the softball fields at the City-County Park.
Mayor Kota Young explained to council members that the city is applying for a grant to pay for the proposed project with an estimated total cost of $500,000.

He added the $250,000 to match the grant will be included in the Fiscal Year 2022-23 budget.
