Milling And Paving To Begin Thursday On Interstate 24

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is warning drivers to be on the lookout for milling and paving operations on Interstate 24 that are set to begin later this week.
Transportation Cabinet District Two spokesman Keirsten Jaggers says a contractor will tentatively begin westbound pavement rehabilitation efforts with milling and paving operations at I-24 on Thursday, June 2. The section of I-24 to be addressed is between mile point 86.77 and 92.33.
Motorists are advised of height, width, and weight restrictions that will be in place.
The work is scheduled for completion this fall. Drivers may wish to seek alternate routes while this work is addressed.
