Cadiz Man Charged For Not Complying With Sex Offender Registration

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Cadiz man for driving on a suspended license and failing to comply with the sex offender registration.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers stopped a vehicle driven by 33-year old John H. Taylor, Jr. on U.S. 62 West for disregarding a traffic control device shortly before 6:15 Monday evening. During the stop, officers confirmed through a records check that Taylor’s license was suspended for DUI. He says a further investigation revealed that Taylor was on the sex offender registry and had not updated his address.
Taylor was taken into custody and charged with disregarding a traffic control device, no insurance, failure to comply with sex offender registration 1st offense, and driving on a DUI suspended license 2nd offense. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
