Radio Auction Has A Record-Breaking Week, Raises Over $35,000


The week-long Princeton Optimist-Kiwanis Club Radio Auction concluded with a big celebration Friday night when it was announced that a record-breaking amount of over $35,000 was raised for the youth in our community.
Princeton Kiwanis Club President Joe Gray announced that Friday night’s auction total was over $5,100 bringing the grand total — including the 31 donations to the Goat Club, 34 Platinum Partner Program sponsors, and the scholarship donation — to more than $35,000.


click to download audioWith a lot of changes for this year’s auction, including a “New in 22” theme, Optimist President George Kilgore said he was skeptical about being able to reach the $22,000 goal but surpassing that amount has given them a goal to shoot for in the future.

click to download audioHe also said all auction items need to be picked up from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Christian Life Center at First Baptist Church on West Main Street in Princeton.
