George Coon Library Transforms into Ocean of Possibility


This summer, the George Coon Library will feature many ocean-themed events for all ages for their “Oceans of Possibility” theme.


Library Director Nichelle Faughn says children’s programs will continue throughout the summer and are designed for children in pre-K through 5th grade.

click to download audioThe library is still doing their reading log weekly drawings. When you turn in your reading log, you are automatically entered into the contest. The most recent winners were Walker Heaton for grades K-2, Camry Maxwell for 3rd-5th, Addison Cotton for the teen division, and Candy McGowan for adults.
Clamshells are hidden throughout the library’s ocean decorations and a prize can be won by collecting five shells.
