
The Princeton Optimist Club recently made a donation to the Smash House 14uWK softball team that is playing in Branson, Missouri this coming week.
Optimist Club members Benji Kilgore, George Kilgore, Kasey Miranda, Joyce Farmer, Zeke Jamison and Jo Ann Coomer presented the donation to Smash House representatives Michael Minton, Sarah Baker and Amber Minton.
Meanwhile, Optimist Club President George Kilgore has also announced they are still gathering numbers and information for their record-breaking radio auction. He says they hope to have additional totals to share in the near future.
According to Kilgore, if you made a pledge to the Goat Club or the Wes York Memorial Trade Scholarship you can mail those payments to the Princeton Optimist Club, P.O. Box 54, Princeton, Kentucky 42445. Kilgore notes there is also time to make a donation if you would like to contribute to any of these funds.
Kilgore also announced additional Goat Club donations: a Good Ole Goat $25 donation was made by Marty and John Pressler, Pat and William Fralick, and Lori Holsapple made a $50 Silver Goat donation, and a $100 donation to the Golden Goat was made by Donna McNichols in honor of Jo Ann Coomer.
