Retiring Sheriff Stan Hudson Recognized By Court


Caldwell County Fiscal Court recognized the county’s longest-serving sheriff during Tuesday’s meeting.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling honored Sheriff Stan Hudson who is retiring Friday, July 1st, after serving the county for over two-decades.

During comments from department leaders and magistrates, Chief Deputy Chris Noel with the sheriff’s department thanked Hudson for his service and hard work.

click to download audioCounty Attorney Roy Massey IV added that he couldn’t say enough good things about the sheriff and the great relationship between his office and the sheriff’s office.
County Clerk Toni Watson also laughingly shared her comments about Hudson and said she has enjoyed working with him.

The public is invited to a retirement reception that will be from 11 am. – 2 p.m. Wednesday in the small courtroom at the Caldwell County Courthouse.
