Drivers who travel KY 135 in Crittenden County will need to find an alternate route due to an extended closure beginning Tuesday, July 5th.
District 1 spokesman Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a contractor will close KY 135 just west of the KY 91 intersection for about 15 days for deck maintenance and joint work on the Hurricane Creek Bridge near the 12-mile marker.
According to Todd, motorists will be required to follow an extended detour via KY 91, KY 983, U.S. 60, and KY 1668/Crittenden Springs Road.
The target completion date is July 22.
