Drug And Weapon Charges For Oklahoma Couple Found In Stolen Vehicle


Two Oklahoma residents were arrested in Princeton on theft, meth and gun-related charges Wednesday afternoon.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers responded to Walmart for a complaint of possible shoplifters shortly before 5:00 p.m and made contact with 32-year old Michael Risingsun-Braden of Rose, Oklahoma and 29-year old Jimmie B. Falling of Chouteau, Oklahoma. He says an investigation revealed that the couple arrived at Walmart in a vehicle reported stolen out of Oklahoma. He adds that video obtained by officers during the investigation revealed that the stolen vehicle was driven to Walmart by Risingsun-Braden and then later driven in the parking lot by Falling.

According to the police report, Falling was taken into custody and charged with receiving stolen property over $1,000 less than $10,000 and operating on a suspended license.
Assistant Chief Allison says Risingsun-Braden was also found in possession of methamphetamine and a handgun. He was taken into custody and charged with receiving stolen property over $1,000 less than $10,000, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating on a suspended license.

Both subjects were lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
