
A Princeton man was charged with strangulation after an altercation Tuesday night.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence near the 400 block of East Main Street shortly before 7:00 p.m. He says an investigation revealed that a physical altercation had occurred and the victim told officers that 40-year old Troy W. Cheek had grabbed her by the neck and was strangling her.
Cheek was charged with second-degree strangulation. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
