Dawson Springs Man Charged With DUI, Resisting Arrest


A traffic stop in Caldwell County led to the arrest of a Dawson Springs man on multiple charges Tuesday night.
According to Sheriff Chris Noel, the traffic stop occurred around 10:15 after a deputy on patrol observed a vehicle swerving in the roadway. After an investigation, he says 28-year old Christopher Hayes was taken into custody by Deputy Evan Head and charged with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, resisting arrest, license not in possession, improper use of blue lights, possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, and failure of owner to maintain required insurance 2nd offense.
Hayes was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
