A Princeton man has been charged with strangulation in connection to a physical altercation that occurred over the weekend.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports 36-year old Bryan D. Harris was arrested around 5:15 Monday afternoon on a Caldwell County Arrest Warrant charging him with fourth-degree assault domestic violence and first-degree strangulation.
According to Allison, the warrant stems from an investigation of a domestic disturbance that occurred on Saturday where Harris and the victim were allegedly involved in a physical altercation. He says officers were told that Harris grabbed the victim by the throat and strangled her until she was unconscious.
Harris was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
