Marion Police Asking For Public’s Help In Stolen Vehicle Case

Police in Marion are working a stolen vehicle case and need the public’s help in locating the pickup truck and/or the suspect.
According to police, 45-year old Justin Burnett reportedly took a Dark Grey 2004 single-cab 2004 Ford Ranger pickup truck with a Kentucky license plate 403CZH. Police say on the front of the truck there is a specialized plate that says “Poppy”.

Burnett is described as a White male, 5’7 and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, a black ball cap, and black water shoes.
Police say the truck was last seen traveling south on South Main Street shortly after 8:30 Friday morning. They believe Burnett is traveling to Illinois or possibly Paducah.
Burnett reportedly is not from Marion and had only been seen in the city for the first time on Thursday.

Police caution the public to not approach Burnett. If you see Burnett or the pickup truck, notify your local police department or Marion Police Department at (270) 965-3500.
