Kentucky State Police is investigating a murder that occurred in Webster County over the weekend after police say a Dixon man called 911 to report that he strangled his girlfriend.
Post 2 spokesman Trooper Brandon McPherson says 47-year old William Brian Virgin contacted Webster County Dispatch around 9:00 Saturday morning and reported that he had strangled his girlfriend 32-year old Heather Davidson and she was deceased. After units arrived and confirmed the Dixon woman’s death, detectives with Kentucky State Police were requested to conduct an investigation.
Virgin was reportedly interviewed and charged with murder. He is lodged in the Webster County Detention Center.
