Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest Of Princeton Man


A traffic stop in Caldwell County led to the arrest of a Princeton man Sunday night on multiple charges including possessing meth.
Caldwell County Sheriff Chris Noel reports Deputy Kenneth Vincent was on patrol when he conducted a traffic stop shortly after 9:30 p.m. on a vehicle he observed disregard a stop sign at Interstate 69 and the North Jefferson Street intersection.
Upon further investigation, the driver 35-year old Ryan Springs was taken into custody and charged with disregarding a stop sign, reckless driving, operating on a suspended license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – drug unspecified, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, no registration, and failure of owner to maintain required insurance.
Springs was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
