Kuttawa Man Charged With 2nd DUI After Caldwell Traffic Stop


A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Kuttawa man on DUI-related charges in Caldwell County Thursday afternoon.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison says officers stopped a vehicle with no brake lights on Grooms Street around 4:00 p.m. When officers made contact with the driver, 54-year old David L. Warner, they reportedly smelled alcohol on his breath.
Police said Warner was taken into custody after a records check revealed his license was suspended for DUI and sobriety tests determined he was under the influence of alcohol.
Warner was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail on charges of no brake lights, driving on a DUI suspended license 1st offense – aggravating circumstances, and DUI 2nd offense – aggravating circumstances.
