Princeton Man Charged With Possessing Drugs, Failing To Comply With Sex Offender Registry

A Princeton man has been arrested on multiple charges including possessing drugs and failing to comply with the state’s sex offender registry.
According to Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison, 47-year old Matthew R. Crowe was taken into custody around 12:40 Thursday morning after officers observed him on a bicycle in the area of Tractor Supply and determined he was under the influence of intoxicants. Officers said Crowe was also found in possession of marijuana and meth. A records check of his address also reportedly showed a different address than where he told officers he was living which violated his conditions for the sex offender registry.
Crowe was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication, possession of marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal littering, and failure to comply with the sex offender registry. He was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
