Caldwell Tornado Victims Urged To Fill Out LTRG Form


Caldwell County Fiscal Court magistrates are urging residents to take the time to fill out an application recently created by the local Long-Term Recovery Group to streamline the process to provide financial assistance to those impacted by the December tornadoes.
During Tuesday morning’s meeting, District 4 Magistrate Jeff Simms says the Caldwell County LTRG has found a resolution to distribute the donations to tornado-impacted individuals who qualify.


click to download audioHe added there is an application form that can be picked up at Princeton City Hall. He noted the form must be submitted by 4:30 Monday afternoon, October 17th.


click to download audioSimms said the application form is a great effort by the LTRG and all of those involved to expedite the distribution of funds to the affected victims.

click to download audioAccording to the Caldwell County LTRG Facebook page, the maximum funding amount any one applicant may receive in this assistance cycle is $4,000.00. However, in the event more applications are received than would allow this amount to be distributed equally due to limited funds, the maximum shall be lowered proportionately for all applicants.
