Widespread Illness Forces Crittenden Schools To Cancel Classes

Officials with Crittenden County Schools have canceled school for Friday and Monday due to rapidly falling attendance numbers from widespread illness among staff and students.
School officials say Friday will be a non-school day, and Monday will be a non-traditional instruction day with students working from home on assignments that were sent home Thursday.
They say Friday night’s football game will still be played because it’s a KHSAA-scheduled playoff game. School officials urge everyone who is sick, however, to please stay home to help prevent the spread of further illness.
During this time, custodians will deep clean all buildings to further mitigate the spread of sickness.
Officials indicate schools will be back in session on Tuesday, November 8.
