Donaldson Baptist Church recognized area Veterans by hosting a breakfast in their honor Saturday morning.
Pastor Mike Davis is a Veteran serving in the Navy from 1993-1995 and was aboard the USS Enterprise at sea for 6 months during his tour. He said the church hosted the free breakfast to show their appreciation to veterans.

Veteran Steve Thompson was in the Army and stationed at Fort Bragg for three years from 1974-1977 and was in the Reserves for 20 years. He also expressed his appreciation for the recognition.

H.C. Beck was the speaker for the program and talked about his time in the military.
