Caldwell County Rockslide Leads To Travel Restrictions On I-69


Local firefighters responded to Interstate 69 after a rockslide created a hazard for motorists Friday morning.
Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis says the fire department was sent to I-69 around 9:45 Friday morning where some rocks had fallen from a ledge on the right side of the road going toward Dawson Springs.


click to download audioHe indicates one lane of Interstate 69 had to be restricted while a crew with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet worked on removing some of the larger rocks.
