Princeton Woman Wanted In Indiana Arrested


A Princeton woman arrested after a trespassing complaint was also charged with being a fugitive from another state.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison says officers responded to a residence near the 700 block of Varmintrace Road at 4:30 Sunday afternoon for a complaint of a female that was trespassing and had active warrants.
27-year old Erika N. Owens was taken into custody and charged with second-degree criminal trespassing after officers said they determined she was trespassed from the property on August 26, 2022.
In addition, Assistant Chief Allison says Owens was served two Caldwell County Bench Warrants charging her with two counts of failure to pay child support or appear. He indicates Owens was also wanted out of Indiana on a Felony Warrant and she was additionally charged with fugitive from another state after Indiana advised local police they would extradite.
