Officials with Crittenden County Public Schools have announced that due to a shortage of bus drivers on Wednesday created by the girls’ Class A state basketball tournament, they have decided to make Wednesday an NTI Day in addition to Thursday. School officials indicate students will receive work assigned by their teacher.
If the girls win on Wednesday and advance to Friday’s championship game, officials indicate an announcement regarding school will be made on Thursday.
The community is also invited to come out to Main Street in Marion Tuesday morning around 8:30 as a police escort will lead the girls’ basketball team through town before leaving for the state tournament.
