Fredonia Ballpark Preparing For The Year


Volunteers at the Buddy Rogers Ballpark in Fredonia are busy getting the facilities and programs ready for the upcoming year.
The ballpark is owned by the American Legion Post 103 and has been serving Fredonia and the surrounding area for over 100 years. The programs are funded by local support and some donations from the fiscal court and hands-on support from the City of Fredonia. To kick off the upcoming year they selling banners to be placed around the fencing of the grounds. Donnie Conway explained they are bringing this fundraiser back from past years.


click to download audioHe added that anyone is welcome to purchase a banner to promote their business, honor a family member or if anyone wants to support the park you can place a banner with their name on it.

By placing a banner at the park you will be supporting children and youth leagues, church softball leagues, and other programs that are open to anyone to participate in no matter where you live.

click to download audioBanners will be 3×5 feet and are available for $250.00 for 1 year or $400.00 for 2 years. When you purchase a banner they will create it for you plus install and maintain it. All proceeds will go toward programs offered and there are no paid employees at the park.
