A Lyon County resident was arrested on drug possession charges after a welfare check at a Kuttawa home last week.
According to Sheriff Brent White, deputies responded to a residence on KY 1271 at the request of DCBS for a welfare check shortly after 2:30 Friday afternoon. He says the investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at the home and the arrest of 30-year old Lee A. Adams.
Adams was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance – drug unspecified, illegal possession of a legend drug, possession of marijuana, and possession of a drug paraphernalia.
