A man was arrested on drug possession and other charges after a traffic stop in Crittenden County Friday night.
Sheriff Evan Head said he stopped a vehicle being operated in a careless manner on Highway 2123 just before 9:00 p.m. and found the driver, 50-year old Carl Belt, Jr., had an active Crittenden County bench warrant.
During the investigation, Sheriff Head said Belt was also charged with operating on a suspended license, failure to or improper signal, possession of marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense, and illegal possession of a legend drug.
Belt was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.
